Site Visit Safety Requirements:
To ensure the safety and compliance of all visitors to our active construction site, we have established a set of procedures that must be followed. Please find below the detailed requirements for bringing visitors ontothesite:
1. Authorization: All visitors must obtain prior authorization before entering the site. Please notify us at least48hours in advance with the names and details of the visitors.
2. Safety Briefing: Before entering the site, all visitors are required to attend a safety briefing. This briefingwillcover site-specific hazards, safety protocols, and emergency procedures. Please schedule this briefingwiththeHSE Department upon arrival.
3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Visitors must be equipped with appropriate PPE, which includes:
a) Hard hats
b) High-visibility vests
c) Steel-toed boots
d) Visitors must provide their own PPE.
4. Wearing Proper Attire:
Visitors are required to wear the following proper attire: a) Long pants and long-sleeved shirts to protect against cuts and exposure to any chemical substances. b) Closed-toe shoes, preferably with steel toes, for foot protection. c) Avoid loose clothing and accessories to prevent entanglement in machinery.

Datin Ar. Teng Chiu Chew Ying is a Director of Arkitek Permata Sdn Bhd, a Penang-based architectural consultancy practice.
She graduated from the University of Melbourne. Upon coming to Malaysia, she found employment with Architects Team 3, where her most notable role was as one of the Project Architects for Kompleks Tun Abdul Razak (KOMTAR) in George Town, Penang where she gained valuable experiences in high-rise buildings. Datin joined Arkitek Permata Sdn Bhd in 1990, and has remained as a Director since.
As a Fellow Member of Persatuan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) and registered with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM), she has served as the PAM Northern Chapter Chairman from 2006 to 2008, a PAM Northern Chapter Committee Member since 2009 and a committee member of FIABCI Penang Chapter since 2006.
Datin Teng has been involved in a wide range of projects including high-rise residential towers, shopping malls, hotels, hospitals, educations and galleries.

SPEAKER 2:Mr. KL Wong is a partner of KL Wong Architect Sdn Bhd, a small-medium size architectural practice in Penang, Malaysia. Being born and raised in Georgetown, Penang, Mr. Wong has strong connections with the life style, culture and heritage of Penang. As an architect, he does not propose a particular style or language for the projects. Instead, he and his team actively explore strategies and design options in response to the local context while trying to meet clients’ needs and aspirations.
