Dato’ Ar. Yew Tung Seang

Dato’ Ar. Yew Tung Seang, an Architect by profession, has a vision to transform the city using the slogan of “Intelligent, Liveable and Happy City”.
Dato’ began his career as an Architect, at the then Penang Island Municipal Council in 1991. In 2018 he was appointed the Mayor of the City Council of Penang Island (MBPP). In additional to his role as the Mayor, Dato’ is also a corporate member of Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia, and the President of the Malaysian Association of Local Authorities (MALA). Dato’ is also the chairman of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) Green Cities Mayor Council.

In August 2020, Dato’ was awarded the accolade of the Best Corporate Leadership for Male under the malaysiaGBC Leadership Award 2020, in recognition for his contribution and leadership towards the sustainable environment.

In conjunction to promote GREEN, PAM Northern Chapter will not supply any plastic bottled drink for all PAM Northern Chapter Seminars/Events from now on.
We encourage you to prepare your own drinking water in a recyclable tumbler for all PAM Northern Chapter Seminars/Events.  

Please refer to the rules and regulations of Majlis Keselamatan Negara and abide accordinglyPAM NC will not be liable to compound/ penalty due to personal conduct.
