Morning    Session I  - ( 3   hours) - Seminar    - Let's do Revit  Implementation.
Afternoon Session II -  (1.5 hours ) - Workshop - Let's try out Revit.
 
The workshop and seminar are put together to give you an idea on learning and implementing a BIM (Building Information Modeling) software based on the Autodesk Revit Architecture, the world's leading BIM software in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) Industry.
 
Who should attend? - Architect, Engineer, Surveyor, QS, Project Manager and Developer.
 
You can choose to attend either or both session.
 
Morning Session I  ( 3 hours ) - Seminar : Let's do Revit Implementation!                                          
This seminar looks at the Autodesk Revit on its implementation and application in the normal everyday architectural practice. It focus on its speed and efficiency on design, documentation, construction and presentation on a project.
 
The presenter will share with you how to implement Revit in the office on:
-         Revit : Speed & Efficiency on a project.  
-         Using Revit to develop a project from conception to presentation and marketing.
-         See how you could change anything, anywhere and anytime on a project by Revit.
-         Developing and manage your project from A- Z by using 1 software & 1 file by Revit.
-         Automate Revit to free up time on designing and detailing a project.
-         Design integration using Revit Architecture, Structure and MEP.
-         How to interact Revit with other consultants using AutoCAD.
-         Revit and Green Building design.
-         Tips for getting started in Revit project and implementation.
-         Revit Training - what it takes to learn Revit.

Afternoon Session II ( 1.5 hours ) - Workshop - Let's try out Revit.
This workshop exercise is designed with the follow objectives in mind.
 You are new , never use and having problem learning Revit Architecture!
 
Here you are going to draw a simple block building from the ground up with wall, floor, roof, stair, door, window, railing, 3D, schedule, family & component insertion, documentation and render it.
 
You do this lesson in 1 - 2 hour
 
Note: No PC station is provided at the workshop. Participants  must  bring their own notebook computers with preloaded Revit 2016/2017 free trial version software. Participants shall be advised on how to install Revit. All notes and exercise files shall be given.  


Presenter’s biography 

WONG KOOI KAM (KIM WONG) graduated in B. Sc (Design Studies) and B. Arch from UNSW, Sydney, Australia, and he has been practicing architecture in Malaysia since 1991.
He had helped set up and implement AutoCAD for many  architecture and engineering firms in Penang back in the 90s, in additional to training professionals.
When Revit was first introduced to Malaysia in 2004, he was recruited by Autodesk/CadPartners  to look into promoting Revit for the architectural and construction industry.  He fell in love with the Revit ever since version 6.0. 
Many of his works has been published in RevitCity forum website.  In 2011, he was sought out by a London based  architecture-ID-graphic design firm in KL to help implement Revit in the office, where he used Revit intensively on commercial and shopping mall projects.
In this organisation, he assumes the positions of Revit Architect, Revit trainer and BIM Manager.
He now conducts Revit workshop and classes and provides consulting services in implementing Revit.
